there are many modules from doepfer that replace a combination
of other modules, which reduce cost and space. i would also prefer to

i agree with the others on this thread that the available modules from
analogue solutions, fricke et al are not really worth the bother,
since a vermona or even humble adx-1 offer more flexibility for less
money. a set of modules with significant voltage control would
certainly have its own niche in the market, the question is how large
that market is. 

dieter, have many people mentioned this to you? drum modules are
probably of more interest to those involved in (let's call it)
electronica than the stockhausen department, and i get the impression
that there is a strong increase in interest in modular synthesis from
others like myself who were doing the virus/nord thing ten years ago.

let's keep this thread constructive and not kill it off with what-for?
