Accutronics reverb tank with an A199 Spring Reverb.

2008-01-28 by ilanode

Hi list, a guy from the analoguehaven forum is using an Accutronics
9AB3C1B reverb tank with it's A199 Spring Reverb. I'd like to try it
myself, yet, I'm not sure which tank to choose.

There are tanks available having the following impedances:
Input (2nd digit Accutronics code): A = 10, B =190, C = 240; D= 310, E
= 800, F = 1925 Ohm;
Output (3rd digit): A = 600, B = 2575, C = 12000 Ohm.

Possible connectors (6th digit)are: A) Input grounded/Output grounded;
B) Input
grounded/Output insulated; C) Input insulated/Output grounded; D)
Input insulated/Output insulated.

Which impedances and connectors should be chosen? Is the above
mentioned choice actually the best option? TIA, Ingo
