first off, i think saying "if you don't have one, get one" could be misleading, and i apologize for that..what i mean is the A-101-9 Universal Vactrol mod is a very good thing to have to add voltage control to mods that don't have voltage control for some functions...

for this  example: i added a jack to an A-145 LFO that accepts the output of the Universal Vactrol mod, and that routes a control voltage signal  (output from the A-140 ADSR) signal to the frequency of the LFO...for a better idea, look at the technical info on Doepfer's site about the A-101-9....i've been able to add voltage control to several modules on my Doepfer rack, and it has given me lots of options i didn't have before...

what does the universal vactrol actually do in this patch ?
i dont have it but i would like to recreate your idea.
