I hope, you want to say: you did not find a use for the frequency 
shifter algorithm in the bitrman - as the other algorithms in the 
bitrman are extraordinary good.

I cannot tell what the Bitrman really does in frequency shift mode, but 
it is for sure not a frequency shifting like in a Bode derived shifter. 
Worst thing is, that it shifts only up, not down.

Nevertheless, this (alesis-)algorithm is very nice for percussive 
things. The Bitrman is constantly connected to my TR-808 and Xbase09 and 
does wonderful things to them.
