Hi everyone, I'm trying hard to finalize my shopping list for modules and want to clarify something. The BBD module has been on the list right from the start. However, I am having doubts about it lately. I know that I don't need phasing, flanging and chorus in my sound. I am also not in desperate need of an analog delay (I have an Electroharmonix Deluxe Memoryman). What else can the BBD do? I know that feeding it out-of-range clock rates makes interesting sounds, but is it interesting enough to buy the module? I will probably go for Livewire's Dalek Generator, because it includes two oscillators (which can modulate each other) and a ring modulator in one module. I know that the oscillators have only one CV input each and are limited to pulse and sine waveforms, but size is an important factor in my case. What do you guys think? I also plan to go for the MFB Dual LFO, because it includes two CV controlled LFOs in one small module, where the LFOs can modulate each other when no CV is supplied. (I know this module is not out yet.) The rest of the list consists of the following Doepfer modules: A-118 Noise/Random A-137 Distortion/Waveshaper A-148 Dual S&H/T&H A-151 Quad Sequential Switch A-164 Manual Gate A-175 Dual Inverter A-188-1 BBD (1024) A-196 PLL I may leave the Manual Gate out or leave it and add a Joystick module in. I'd like to ask your comments on all this. For those who may not remember my current modules listed in previous emails, here they are: A-116 Waveform Processor A-119 Ext Input/Env Follower A-124 Wasp Filter A-132-1 Dual linear VCA A-143-3 Quad LFO A-172 Max-Min Selector Thanks, Korhan
