I have a lot of the modules you're considering. I have to agree with another post that the uses of the A-132 aren't necessarily overwhelming, at least for me. Generally something more full- featured is necessary. I'd sell you mine without regrets. The A-116 waveform processor is excellent, I truly love the -24 dB highpass filter, and you obviously can't go wrong with the noise module. As for the AS stuff, I have the RS30 follower and its pitch-following isn't terribly tight -- its uses are more abstract, e.g. with followed unpitched sounds controlling a VCO. The AS VCOs are truly great -- much warmer and fatter than the Doepfer A-111s. That said, they'd be perfect if they had a fine-tune knob and pots for attenuating pulse-width CVs. And I happen to love the sound of the A- 111s. I want more of both. --- In Doepfer_a100@y..., Adam Burr <adamb@b...> wrote: > I'm considering purchasing a rack of modules from both Doepfer and Analog > Systems and I was hoping to hear if anyone had experienced any problems > that I should know about before I buy them: > > > Doepfer > ------- > A-116 Waveform Processor > A-118 Noise > A-120 24dB Low Pass > A-123 24dB High Pass > A-131 Exp.
