I had imagined that it would cost a bunch. I have a couple of Anvil Case briefcases laying around (they used to sell them as promo items) and I could try to build a keyboard into one of them. I used to go to pawn shops and look for old instrument cases and build electronics into them. Sometimes you can find a old wooden instrument case that is just the right dimensions to do the job.
