In a way that is a good thing to hear - at least my A-141 is not  
broken. I guess I was missled by the A-190's owner manual (page 4):

The gate output (5) and CV1 output (c) are automatically
connected to the system bus of the A-100, so
don’t use patch cables to connect these, unless you
have cut the links, or wish to connect to a module
whose system bus isn’t connected with the A-190’s
(have a look at the note on using more than one
A-190). VCOs on the same system bus automatically
receive CV1, and ADSRs automatically receive
the gate signal.

I wonder why the A-141 was left out of this? I guess I will be  
swapping some modules around again! I guess the need of a list that  
notes which modules talk and listen to the Buss is needed more than I  
thought.
