Doepfer

I have a lot of Hz/V gear - massive old paia modular and ms20 etc.

Is it a really stupid idea to try and use my ms20 to control my
doepfer? I don't have a conventional keyboard to control it at all at
the mo, but it would be nice. Is there a doepfer module that does
antilog conversion or whatever? Is it one of those ideas that is
theoretically possible but would actually be a massive pain in the bum
in practice, causing heartache, frustration, and cat-kicking? Anyone
tried it? 

Would be great, because ms20 and my beautiful bespoke doepfer box are
the only kit i use these days really, and it would be ubercompact and
beautiful to look at as a pair.
