Eep! I didn't mean to cause offence, and certainly wasn't try to cast 
aspersions on the demo's quality, especially when you were kind 
enough to post a link. 

When someone puts together a musical track, I have a huge amount of 
difficulty figuring out which aspects of an oscillator's sound are 
inherent in the oscillator, and which are down to post-processing, 
compression or the level of resonance someone's used on their 
filtered osc, etc. 

I should also have added that the ring mod in that demo sounds much 
nicer than I expected, given the complaints people have made about 
the Doepfer VCOs being so 'dirty'.

Again, huge apologies for managing to sound so rude! (Note to self: 
don't post while at work).
