I am always running out of audio mixers on my modular. I want to add a couple of "outboard" ones for special occassions but I don't need the eq/preamps etc there is an old 4 to 1 design used used by many companies, like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/4-Channel-Micro-mixer_W0QQitemZ280275065691QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item280275065691&_trkparms=72%3A1301%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 but it distorts very easily. behringer have this: http://www.behringer.com/MX400/index.cfm?lang=eng which looks like it could be better (better opamps? no ouput mix stage might help?) anyone tried these, or found better solutions? - I want to buy something I am not a builder! richard -- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter.
