Doepfer

Having just constructed my modular, I'm going through all my units, 
trying to ensure I understand them as well as possible. One that still 
baffles me is the A-109 Midi-CV unit, in particular its Glide 
parameter. 

I'm using my Andromeda as a midi-keyboard, plugging it into the Midi-
In, and editing the Glide parameter so that it's at 127 (which should 
make it glide pretty slowly). However, nothing happens! The keys all 
play exactly as normal, no glide at all. I know I'm not accidentally 
setting the Config mode parameter because the Glide equivalent is 
Offset, and I'd notice if I was accidentally setting that.

Any advice? Am I fundamentally misunderstanding the way the glide 
setting works?
