The A-132-1 is a very simple circuit (nothing but a linear controlled CA3080 OTA) and the only explanation I have is that the CA3080 used in the A-132-1 are defective. We discovered over the years that a small percentage of the CA3080 becomes defective after a couple of weeks or months in use. Best wishes Dieter Doepfer
