Hello Dieter, I just tried switching the CA3080 around and indeed the switch showed that the other part was working correctly with a good CA3080. I will get some from my local electronics dealer which saves me the hassle of having to contact Thomann again and send the unit back for the second time. I however tried switching the chips around on the first unit i had and that did not work at that time! (of course I tried!) ;-) So Thomann will indeed tell you about a defective unit!
