Derek Holzer, I don't know anything about curcuit boards, but isn't the distorted sine problem a design flaw, not a feature flaw? What I mean is, even if that waveshaping knob wasn't included, you probably wouldn't be able to get a less buzzy sine. It just takes a good set of ears to make sure you got the waveshape knob set right. Other oscillators are designed differently and have imperfect sines that are not buzzy, but have some additional harmonics, which is much better than buzzy IMO. I think this is the case with Plan B VCO and Tip Top Audio VCO.
