seconded, such a mixer would indeed be nice

  I still want a mixer module with mutes, pan knobs (maybe CV
  pan/mute?), a single led for input level, mute buttons, stereo led's
  for output level, and of course - a set of stereo outputs. Even if
  it's just 4 channels. maybe fx send/return, or even eq, but that's
  probably pushing it. 
  This would be the brain of my system.
  As it is I have mixers running into mixers, running with no visual
  indication of what is happening where. In a live situation it's
  especially frustrating, esp. with complex layered patches.
  Am I alone (again) on this one?
