That is why I like to use the Garfield Mini Doc, it keeps that swing of the old drum machines.  I go from DAW to Mungo Sync2, into the Garfiled Mini Doc and to all other analog clocks.

Thank you very much for you answer, actually i use Pro Tools as clock source nowadays, i set the tempo of my session and send the clock through one midi port to my hardware equipment. The annoying thing here is that, for example: if i program a drum sequence on my drum machine i can get a very nice groove out of it, with a really nice swing and feel, but if i set my drum machine clock as slave, receiving clock start and stop information, the drum machine plays back far more mechanical and loose all the swing. The same happens with my sampler.
