Hi,

I find Plan B Model 13 to be close enough to the Buchla 292 to make you
happy.  I've got the triple LPG version and it is definetly woody "a la"
Buchla.  The Doepfer one is surely great it it's own right, but I believe
that you're better with a Model 13 for the sound you're looking for.

  that one... I spend a lot more time on the SDIY forums and lists than
  here, so making it yourself is always my first response ;-)

  The Doepfer one seems like it should do what the Buchla ones did, but of
  course Buchla sprinkled a lot of extra magic in his designs...
