I think you're right on detaching the power supply For anyone else, as an interim fix, I used 20mm m3 screws and 10mm nylon standoffs. In the future, I would've use 25-30mm screws with 10mm nylon bushings, as I didn't take in to count the thickness of the case. I picked them up from amazon for $3. I'm happy to have my modules all mounted!
