I think a winner looks different :-)

I've decided to publish only new modules if I'm really convinced of it
myself or if there are sufficient inquiries. Both does not apply to the
patch matrix module.

Though I don't use my A-100 as often as many of you I cannot see any
advantage of the patch matrix (and I tried it several times). Such a matrix
is a perfect tool in a semi-modular unit with a fixed number of
predetermined modules and with inputs and outputs of the matrix fixed to
certain parameters. In a modular synth like the A-100 one has much more than
8 in/outputs and one would be limited to a few parameters only that could be
handled via the matrix. And you will always have to remember to which
in/outputs the matrix rows/columns are assigned. This is just my opinion as
a (temporary) user. In any case I never missed a patch matrix in the A-100.
Even during exhibitions (NAMM, Musikmesse) and workshops where I showed the
prototype of the matrix the acceptance was very poor.

We could start the production of the module as the development has been
finished already many months ago. But even from the economic point if view
this does not make sense as there are not sufficient inquiries. Maybe we
could sell 10 or 20 of these modules but that's not sufficient to start the
production (out minimum production batch is 100). And I'm not sure if the
customers will continue to feel confident as soon as they have it in use.

You may convince me to manufacture the module (but you will be probably not
able to convince me about the usefulness of the module :-)
