After all the A-110-2 would not be a new oscillator but a simplified A-110

to keep the price as low as possible (i.e. an A-110 without waveform

converters for triangle and sine, and without rotary switch for octave

range). We could offer such a VCO in the Euro 100 range. But in the meantime

I'm not sure if an A-110-2 really would make sense because we are about to

try another VCO design similar to the announced A-143-4 but with a sawtooth

core (in contrast to the triangle core of the A-143-4) and some additional

features like linear FM and Sync. We could probable offer a quad VCO based

on this new design for about Euro 200 (i.e. Euro 50 per VCO) - provided that

everything works as it should. The tracking of the existing second

prototype of the A-143-4 is good over ~ 6-7 octaves from 32Hz to ~ 4kHz. We

still have to measure the long-term temperature stability and find out if

latching effects occur if the frequencies are very close to each other. I'll

keep you informed.

By the way in the LFO mode weird waveforms can be generated by the A-143-4

when the VCLFOs modulate each other. Especially multiple cross-modulations

(i.e. more than two oscillators modulate each other with feedbacks between

the oscillators) are crazy.

Best wishes
