yes Stu, I did mean a separate module, so you can use or not if you
don't want to.
 
At it's simplest it's a 6 or 8hp module with 4 inputs (plus a through
socket for each so you still have your triangle waveform available) and
8 outputs say rising ramp and falling ramp for each input, or for a
socket and a shape pot that goes from rising ramp to triangle to falling
ramp.
 
Dave, you right there are plenty of wave modifiers about, however there
is nothing for someone building a quad based system.

yes, i`m sure david meant as a separate module and, again, interesting
in 
the abstract but starts adding complexity to the simple idea - basic 
hi-density multi-vco module. if nothing else, there are several wave
modifier 
modules available if desired tho none, to my knowledge, in a quad
format.
