Doepfer

I was thinking that the forthcoming "iPad" from Apple could be used as
an instrument similar to Doepfer's ribbon controller or the Haken
Continuum.  One would just need to program the right app.  It would be
great if a midi output cable could be created to go along with it.  I
know there are currently some synthesizer and sequencer apps for the
iPhone, but I don't know if any has taken advantage of continuum-like
effects.  The iPad would be great for this as it would be a much
bigger playing area.
