Do yourself a favour, and don't start trying to fill a Monster case. Dieter will not be angry with you. First tell us (as suggested before) what kind of music you want to make (or make), what [you think] your goal is in terms of timbre, rhythm, genre, etc... A "classical" synth flow mostly goes like this : - sound source (VCO, Noise) -> filter -> VCA -> out - modulation sources (LFO, S/H, ENV) to shape the pitch, the timbre, and the loudness - possibly also trigger/gate sources (Keyboard, Sequencer, etc) But a modular system encourages you to step off that beaten path, and experiment. Though first you need to decide what your goals are (yeah, it's a recursive thing)... _g --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, "andreashaun2000" <andreashaun2000@...> wrote: > > hi, > > i only want to know what are the kernel modules are for experimenting. i tried some rack planner but i'm lost to deceide the right modules for filling at first a monsterbase p.e. > > i want a seq, multiples, attenuators vca's filter's etc. > > but i cant find a beginning. >
