Hey Tim,
  why didn´t you drill the holes directly into the A-127 resonance filter? There´s enough place for 3 toggle switches betweeen the "audio in"-pot and the "original"-pot. Saves 4 HP.

  Yes, this *is* very easy to do - I bought some connectors which 
  fitted directly to the jumpers, then mounted some toggle switches on 
  a 4HP blank which just sits next to my A-127 in the rack. (I don't 
  really have the expertise to comment on the usefulness of one filter 
  over the other!)
