AW: [Doepfer_a100] Re: Replacement for A123 High Pass Filter?

2011-06-17 by York Luethje

The A-107 has a 6dB, a 12 dB and a 18 dB HP as well as several combinations
with notch filter and such. No 24 dB HP though.

I don't know if the A-107 has a 4-pole high pass, the A-106-6 does not (1, 2
and 3-pole).
I got an A-123 via ebay auction and having all other Doepfer filters, too, I
can say there is no replacement fot it in the Doepfer line-up today - it
sounds just great.
If A-107 or A-106-6 do the trick for you - go for either or both - they are
very good in their own way.
If you need 4-pole high pass to feed your A-117 then you have to look at
other manufacturers like Division 6 (Filtare SEIII) or Cwejman MMF1.

regards
J.
