jim, on z8000 you can change direction, but as i understood we are not talking here about this - it's more like vc stage addressing, you could choose which step will play with a vc input... i would prefer a small sequencer with 8 steps with vc stage addressing than a 16 step without. i probably would buy two of them, better than one with 16 steps. i was really thinking in buying an a152 and something like elby 4/8 slider pcb (http://www.elby-designs.com/contents/en-us/p164.html)... i think that plan b milton is a great idea also -- but something like a stg graphic sequencer with vc stage addressing would be better! :) [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
