Wouldn't it be nice to have a 8 step sequencer, half the with of the A155, like the Plan-B Milton model 21c with VC direction (which nobody seems to get hold of), in your Doepfer A100 system ? I find it really hard to find a proper small 8step sequencer for a descent price. Most of the smaller ones dont even got a VC-direction input. Lets brake down the A155 and make a smaller on for under 200euro It would be a massive seller. for sure.

How about this Henk? It isn't out yet... but it looks excellent to me! http://www.eurorackdb.com/node/760/&action= On Mon, May 28, 2012 at 1:58 PM, henkbloedvlek <henkbloedvlek@yahoo.nl>wrote: > ** > > > Wouldn't it be nice to have a 8 step sequencer, half the with of the A155, > like the Plan-B Milton model 21c with VC direction (which nobody seems to > get hold of), in your Doepfer A100 system ? > > I find it really hard to find a proper small 8step sequencer for a descent > price. Talking of step sequencers, my partner and I are making one if anyone's interested: http://bytenoise.co.uk/misc/stepper-acid-2012-05-27.jpg http://bytenoise.co.uk/misc/stepper-acid-2012-05-27-2.mp3 Up to 16 steps, multiple patterns, accent and slide, plays well with the Doepfer... All the best, Zoë.

I've got a Tiptop Z8000 which has all the directional functions ... it's not cheap though, but is quite fab. How do you use the direction input though? I realise I've never used it ... it sounds like it'll make things pretty chaotic ;) I'm usually trying to make my stuff repeatable and tight so I've not tried it!

ok, a poll will be up soon! :-) but, to make it more interesting i think it would also be nice to make the sequencer circular shape, just for fun! best regards, Bakis. jim, on z8000 you can change direction, but as i understood we are not talking here about this - it's more like vc stage addressing, you could choose which step will play with a vc input... i would prefer a small sequencer with 8 steps with vc stage addressing than a 16 step without. i probably would buy two of them, better than one with 16 steps. i was really thinking in buying an a152 and something like elby 4/8 slider pcb (http://www.elby-designs.com/contents/en-us/p164.html)... i think that plan b milton is a great idea also -- but something like a stg graphic sequencer with vc stage addressing would be better! :) [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Oh! okay, that is cool!! Yes - I'd like CV addressing :) On 29 May 2012, at 17:49, Igor Medeiros wrote: > jim, on z8000 you can change direction, but as i understood we are not > talking here about this - it's more like vc stage addressing, you could > choose which step will play with a vc input... > > i would prefer a small sequencer with 8 steps with vc stage addressing than > a 16 step without. > i probably would buy two of them, better than one with 16 steps. > > i was really thinking in buying an a152 and something like elby 4/8 slider > pcb (http://www.elby-designs.com/contents/en-us/p164.html)... i think that > plan b milton is a great idea also -- but something like a stg graphic > sequencer with vc stage addressing would be better! :) > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

If people want my thoughts on the final functionality of this small stepper just let me know. :)

No idea Henk. It is not mentioned and I just by chance stumbled upon it.. You should also check the TipTop Audio sequencer. I have my eyes set on that one :D It's a bit pricey though... http://www.tiptopaudio.com/z8k.php On Sun, Jun 3, 2012 at 11:42 PM, henkbloedvlek <henkbloedvlek@yahoo.nl>wrote: > ** > > > Wow. lot of specs on a small board !!! awesome, what is the price on this? > > > --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, achtung_999 <heinrich.himmelwasser@...> > wrote: > > > > How about this Henk? I would not advice you to buy directly of PlanB. For further information go to muffwiggler.com --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, "henkbloedvlek" <henkbloedvlek@...> wrote:
