Not sure how close to the CGS design this is re: power but any thoughts on if I could run it on a +/-15V system?

Yes. But unfortunately it also has some influence to the frequency in LFO
mode (i.e. when you change the shapes also the frequency changes). In slew
or envelope mode that's not a real problem, but it's not possible to change
only the shape of the LFO without changing the frequency a bit.

Also the V/Oct input is not really V/Oct. We will change the label on the
front panel probably to "exp.CV".
