My studio is currently inaccessible so I can't try this and post the result, but isn't it simply a matter of using separate rows for gate, timing, and pitch? (Also, I didn't watch the videos so forgive me if I am repeating their suggestions....and I am not intimately familiar with TD's sequencing style, but from what I gather, ratcheting is creating multiple triggers for the same pitch duration, and not simply speeding up and slowing down a sequence of notes) In the sketch I made last night: - I imagined Row 1 being used for the gate pattern being sent to the ADSR. PA1, G12, all notes on, producing a constant 1/8th note gate pattern. - Row 2 is used for the timing of Row1, set to t.4 (I think, or whatever you prefer), allowing you to change the rate of Row1 from 1/8 to 1/16 or 1/32nd notes. G12 so that timing is changed along with the new pitch. - Row3 is used for pitch data, set to whatever range and direction you like. G12, so pitches change every eighth note. G values for rows 1 and 3 are adjustable to set your slowest timing division. Does this make sense? Anyone want to try it out?
