But it is probably cheaper getting an A196 if you don't already own the necessary modules.
I hope you are not interested in this for 100% accuracy. The A196 is a great module but it has quite some quirky behaviour. I love it especially for that!

I was wondering has anyone here created their own PLL using existing Doepfer Modules rather than getting hold of the A-196? Would it need the Analogue Comparator or can another module do the work? I want to see what can be done with it before committing to buying one.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
