Hello David I use the Dave Jones "o'Tool" (http://www.jonesvideo.com/ and http://www.jonesvideo.com/products/OTOOL_instructions.pdf). Beside other intriguing ;) functions it contains a frequency counter and a tuner too. The frequencycounter is not temperature compensated (see manual), but for relative measurements it is very useful.
