I have a Drehbank. Judging by the user manual, the only difference is that the foot controller inputs provide +5V on the Ring of the TRS socket. The modification probably just severs this connection. It would also be possible to build a custom cable that would have no connection on for the Ring on the 1/4" TRS end, and a regular TS plug on the other end. This would provide ground and a 0 to +5V return signal from your modular. Check with Dieter to make sure there isn't some impedance matching that needs to be accounted for.

As for selling mine.... I don't really like to ever sell any thing ever. Like, never. That said, I don't really use it. I keep it because one day I will want to use it, it's the only CV to Midi converter I have. I'll think about it.
