i have multiple A100 systems, so some are "pure Doepfer-silver" and others (the monster base & "Chaos Box") are very "Frankensteined" ("It's pronounced: 'Fronk-en-steened'!" ^_^ ). but then my entire living room looks like the inside of the TARDIS, a strange mashup of architectures, decors, eras, and technologies, so "purism" isn't even a possibility in my particular bubble of timey-wimey. and as someone else mentioned, at the end of the day it's what it SOUNDS like that's the only *really* important thing.
but, to paraphrase The Dude: "...that's just, y'know, like, uh, my opinion, man..."

I'm glad I'm not the only one who prefers to keep her non-Doepfer modules "quarantined" in a separate rack. :D I love some of them, but really dig the single-manufacturer aesthetic, and Doepfer's modules are a lot better built than some others I have.Message
