I ended up making a panel using front panel express, and am pretty happy with it. When I get it all finished I'll upload some pictures. Part of my issue is a lack of understanding on what some stuff is supposed to do, I have plenty of electronics experience, but this is one of my first tries at audio stuff. So I hooked up a lot of things not really knowing what the end result should be, and just followed the recommendations from the manual. I am having a lot of fun with it, so far it makes some beep boop noises, which is what I was hoping for! Thanks for your reply!
