Hi Nick, This must be an old pcb rev. I looked it up but both my A180-1s and A180-2s (and I got a lot of them) have another pcb layout. Very clear two solder bulbs very close to each other, can't miss. Can't help you herewith, buy a new one for 30£ ? Good luck and cheers Jacco The Netherlands Sent from my IPhone. > Op 26 mei 2017 om 18:43 heeft nicholas.buckley@ntlworld.com [Doepfer_a100] <Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com> het volgende geschreven: > > Hi everyone, > > No luck over at Wigglers so I thought I should try here. > > I've acquired a standard 2 x 1:4 A-180-1 which I would like to convert to a 1 x 1:8 by reinstating the solder bridge. > > I just want to make sure that I know exactly what I'm soldering and, more importantly, what I'm not... > > My gut feeling is that I should solder a fine wire loop between the pair of tiny holes ( the red ring in my picture ) and, at the same time, ensure that no new solder comes into contact with either of the solder points circled in blue. > > The image is here.
