I think that a "ittle of all" system could easly render "must have more of all" symptom, It has for my part, starting of with a small monosynth setup, then expanding it over a 7 years period. Finally i,ve got the polyphonic-tactical-all-purpose system i wanted from the beginning, but couldnt afford from start back in 95. So if you got money to spend, by as much as you can, to fullfill your needs at once, otherwise you´ll end up saying "oh i could really have use for this and that" and this i think slows down the creative process. my suggestion is to by or build many mixers/attenuators (both lin.&exp&vc lin.), multiples, oscillators and vca´s... Its also important to have a lot of cv/trig/gate generators/modifiers I.e. the trigger modif. is a really great litte module, that i use in all my patches. good luck! ///dnfn//Martin/
