Doepfer

I don't agree much with this. I don't think I have ever experience any kind
of synthbrand fan hooligans. What point would there be in badmouthing users
of other brands. The only bad feelings I have picked up has been between
users and non caring manufacturers. I own a few synths of different brands
myself and this far only kurzweil has been a brand that hasn't had any user
flamings that I have noticed. Doepfer has had a bit of digrunted users
(myself at some part included), but it seems like Dieter is shaping up real
good here in the relations to the forum.

But on the other hand I haven't seen any really good discussions about synth
techniques since I left the K2000 list. That was a real programmers heaven
at some times. But on the other hand I find modular synths easier to just
fiddle around with than approaching in a very thought out manner. Anybody
else feel the same?

Anyway good luck with that new list. Personally I will stay with this group
just for the doepfer news.
