Doepfer

What Doepfer should do now is to do a MAC editor for their A-112 sampler 
that I have unused and disconnected,Did they know that almost eveybody in 
the music community uses mac ?( well nowadays that is changing).

I think there is a big diference between early Doepfer modules and 3 years 
to now modules .
Early ones were (and are) poor,terrible sounding ones.

A-110 osc is very poor,I own 3 of them and I only use them for X-modulation 
or FM sounds ,lead sounds with them are crap (I wonder if anybody knows from 
what synth  they cloned them ,

The envelope is bad as hell ( closer to the Korg ms ones ,to me the worst 
enveolpes ever) maybe they cloned from them, and has no body or punch 
compared to the AS ones or an SH -101 per example.

and the 121 multimode filter is simply the WORST sounding filter I have ever 
heard,and can´t be compared to other brand ones.

I´m not bashing Doepfer as I have 6 panels if their modules but some of them 
are the WORST out there

Others more modern are very good ,(maybe because are designed by other 
people or cloned from better machines) : WASP filter,frequency 
shifter,A-142,Formant filter,etc.  and  the upcoming beefed X-pander  filter 
wich seems incredible.

That is my modest opinion , not another OSC from Doepfer ,they wouldn´t beat 
other brand ones(MOTM,AS)
What they should do is to  research new ones as I´m glad they changed their 
Behringer like tactic ( Get
other brand product and  do it cheaper )

NO please , a mix between Korg and Doepfer envelopes ( to me worst ever ) 
will be a bad taste joke
