acutally, I think a better idea would be to have several of the 
pairs on one side of the patchbay to have 1/4 jacks on the 
front minijacks on the rear, that way you can use those to 
interface with the commercially available 1/4" jack patchbays.

I mean, how many of us who would be interested in this don't 
already have the more common 1/4" bays?
