Doepfer

i'm happy w the a177 footswitch controller and dual gate pedals.  seems to 
me to be more useful since they are foot-operated.  no level control ..but don't 
think i've ever been in a situation where i need it.  

which brings the question, when is it necessary to have gate level control ?
