Oops! I misread Doepfer's statement. You're right. Breezing through, I thought he'd said they searched extensively, when he was in fact saying the opposite. In the context of what I thought he'd said, your concerns surprised me. Sorry 'bout that. I hope this is an issue that Doepfer will in fact address more fully. I guess personally though I wouldn't hinge my plans for 4 rows of modules on the meter issue if there seemed to be a homebrew solution to meters not too far out of reach, but that's me. I hope Doepfer will come through on this one. > -----Original Message----- > From: Joe Buechler [mailto:buechlerjoe@toadmail.com] > Sent: Thursday, June 26, 2003 10:24 AM > To: Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com > Subject: [Doepfer_a100] Re: Fwd:dieter's comment on vu-meter module! > > > Charles, I look up to you and admire you a great deal, but I > don't see > how "So far we did not find a supplier but we have not yet searched > very intensively" is a statement that they'd researched an extensive > list of sources for the meters. > > The last time the subject came up, the response from Doepfer was even > more evasive.
