A tip for the future: power up the system after each new module. To 
test, whether the connector sits right.
Before powering up I also use a small dentists mirror to have look at 
the connectors seating.

The used power-regulator ICs (7812 / 7912) usually can stand an output 
shortage, if they the heatsinks work well. In case of the Doepfer PSU 
the heatsinks are overdimensioned.

This hass to be that way. You don't want to know what happens, if one of 
these cables gets loose and produces a contact between the lowvoltage 
and the 220V section....
