It is not the voltage, it is the different input impedance of several 
destinations that are fed from the same voltage source. The different 
inputs have to be decoupled (right word?) from each other.

An example is: I use the sequencer of the SH-101.
SH-101 Gate Out -> A140 only: works fine

SH-101 Gate Out -> Formant-Env only: works fine

SH-101 Gate Out -> A140 + Formant-Env: the A140 does not trígger and the 
Formant does not react always.


The solution is:
SH-101 Gate Out -->A185 -> Formant-Env
                 \->A185 -> A140


(I do not use the A185 in the Formant, but have a diy buffer circuit in 
the Formant)
