Doepfer

hi,

I was planning some future additions to my Doepfer rig. A friend was 
over at my place so I was discussing it with him. He said I was 
crazy. He mentioned something like "You know you're obsessed when 
you have to build a wall of modular synthesizers" (referring to A-
100). But I told him this is not true. I told him that you're truely 
obsessed when you have to tear down a wall for your synthesizer! 
Then Gordon Reid's GX-1 story popped into my head.

So perhaps some interesting proverbs could be made for Doepfer gear 
and modular synths in general.

I have this quote on my site, which I thought was kind of funny:

"I brought out a small Doepfer system and added it to my band's set 
today. Everybody was asking "what's that?" (modified Basic System 
2). I have been thinking about my Doepfer system and the future. At 
first I just wanted to have at least one of everything. Now I'm 
thinking of maybe doubling my system size within a year so I'm in 
some serious thought of what all to add and how to go about this, if 
I had an entire wall of Doepfer...well I might not be any 
happier...but screw it, I would have an entire wall of Doepfer"
