I have a A-120, and I now the CEM-Chip in the A-122. I'd go for the A- 122, as I think the A-120 from Doepfer isn't the strongest filter of doepfer. They make great other filters. I am a big fan of the A-105 SSM Filter. This is also a Ladder-Filter and has a wonderful sound. The only downside is, that with increased resonance the bottom end will loose (minimoog-alike). But the Sound is great and IMHO much better than the A-120, if you are careful with the resonance settings (I realized after a while, that it works best with resonance in the first 40%). --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, "Joerg_Erren" <joerg_erren@y...> wrote: > > Hi there! > I´m wondering which one sounds better: The A-120 (Moog Style) or the > A-122 (Oberheim style)?
