Doepfer

I've noticed that there are what appear to be a couple of different 
makes of header/socket in my setup...... my modules have a number of 
different kinds of connector on the board too - Some of them are 
plugs with exposed pins, others are the type with a surrounding grey 
casing, with a cutout on one side. Also, some of the boards have a 
short 14 pin connector, but came supplied with a ribbon cable with a 
longer 16 pin connector, so one has to be careful not to plug the 
thing together incorrectly. Blu-Tack might well be the answer.
