> What kind of things have people said about your stuff guys?

I regularly hear "It sounds like Jeff Beck". It always amazes me, 
because I know the influence is there, but I would never have guessed 
that such and such a piece would convey that to others.

Guess I've always been a lead guitar wannabee.
