Re: [Doepfer_a100] Re: exotic new modules ideas anyone? tap-tempo-lfo

2005-02-14 by James Husted

I have a few boxes from a old British firm called Boske called
Humanizers. They have piezo sensors on the front. Tap on one ad on the
forth tap in a row it starts spewing out MIDI clocks and 5v gates (the
taps making quarter notes). It has a couple of operating modes. Do the
tap thing and it just keeps running, or you have to keep tapping to
keep it running. In the second mode it will follow the tapping and slow
down or speed up. It has a audio in that has a trigger converter
allowing it to follow kick drum mics etc (or old tape recordings). It
also has a MIDI in which follows the lower couple of octaves of a
particular channel (left hand bass lines). This would be a great module
since it allows things like syncing analog sequencers to live
musicians.
