Ugh. Sorry for all the typos on that one I'm having keybloard problems ;) /p _____ From: Paul Wagorn [mailto:pwagorn@pinc.com] Sent: Thursday, March 10, 2005 11:18 AM To: Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com Subject: [Doepfer_a100] 16 step on 155 adapter It seems to me that being able to switch the 155 over to a 16 step in stead of dual 8 is fairly straightforward using 2 other modules. Rather than have to rig this up every time one would want to use 16 steps, I was thinking that it may be a very simple thing to rig up an adapter with a couple of logic IC's for less than $1 to duplicate this functionality. This 'adapter' would & would save using a couple of modules to perform this simple task, and would make it quicker to switch between 8 & 16 steps. Of course this could all me mounted in the sequencer, but a little adapter box would do just as wel (perhaps there will be a version of the 155 with a switch like this built in one day?) Has anyone tried to make anything like this? Or does everyone just use (or buy id they don't already have) the extra modules & leave them dedicated to this purpose? I was thinking of making something like this, but would love to hear from anyone else who has tied the same. Paul Yahoo!
